Privacy Policy
Flipwright is a personal tool for creating eBay listings from item photos. This policy explains what it does and does not do with your data.
What we collect
- Photos you upload. They are resized in your browser and sent to our server only to generate listing text. They are not stored after the listing is written.
- Your eBay connection. If you connect eBay, we store an encrypted token in a cookie in your browser so the app can post listings on your behalf. We never see your eBay password.
What we share
- Photos and listing text are sent to Anthropic (the AI that writes the listing) and, when you choose to post, to eBay to create your listing.
- We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Camera measurements
When you use the in-app camera, we record how many pixels it could produce — and nothing else. No photo, no filename, no device identifier, no browser or user-agent string. These counts exist to answer one engineering question: whether a phone camera in a browser is sharp enough for eBay’s buyer zoom, or whether a native app is needed for that. They are read as totals across all accounts, never per person.
Your control
- You can disconnect eBay at any time, which deletes the stored token.
- Clearing your browser cookies removes your saved eBay connection.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings, at any time, without asking anyone. That removes your items, costs, hauls, sales, profit history, receipt photos and stored eBay token permanently — there is no backup and no undo. It does not touch eBay: your listings stay live, your eBay account is untouched, and your sales history stays in Seller Hub.
